This years Summer Field Day was held on August 10, 2005 at the Campus of Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH. The days events were located on the Melucci Sports Fields. These events included:
The annual NESTMA board elections
The presentation of the Charles Mruk Scholarships
A description of the campus and the challenges that exist in the maintenance of the facility presentation was given by Supervisor of Grounds Kim Britton.
Guest Speaker Steve Legros from the University of New Hampshire gave a presentation about the Benefits of Proactive vs. Reactive Athletic Field Maintenance.

Sand based sod installation by Goldstar Sod Farms
Infield amendments by Turface
Field Marking by Franklin Paint
Topdressing with organics by New England Organics & Landscape Support Services
Batters box stabilizer material featuring Mike Buekholder from the Philadelphia Philles by Outdoor World of New England
Deep tine aeration by The Boston Company
Vendor trade show area featuring various vendors from throughout New England
Over 100 people attended the event on a beautiful summer day. The grounds of the campus were in superb condition which is a credit to Kim Britton and her staff. Thank you Kim for opening up the doors to your facility and making everyone feel at home. You should be very proud of your accomplishments at St A’s.
