NESTMA held its spring workshop on May 10, 2005 at the Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, Massachusetts. This free workshop offered members a chance to tour the school's facilities and 27 acres of sports turf and meet with various vendors that provide goods and services to the sports turf industry. Informational discussions included topics such as “How better quality fields can prevent sports injuries” and “Goal area maintenance programs that work”. Director of Buildings and Grounds Joe Cazeault and his staff were able to provide attendees with great field tips and recommendations including a brochure geared towards getting Coaches, Players, and Athletic Directors to understand the do’s and don’ts of sports turf etiquette. The grounds at the school were in premier condition and are a testament to the commitment that Joe and his staff have to the school |
